The new editor of https://github.com/odoo/odoo/pull/29775 came with a
fullscreen option. When using the toggle when the editor is in inside
a modal, the editor stretched only to match the size of the modal
instead of the viewport.
This is because the 'position: fixed' rule which is used to achieve the
fullscreen layout cannot work if a parent of the element has a CSS
transform applied on it. Indeed in that case, that element acts like the
viewport for 'position: fixed' elements.

Commit 42530b02fe14 was fixing a bug in reports that were using the standard
bootstrap fonts instead of the changes we made in $font-family-sans-serif
To solve this, 42530b02fe14 replicated the change in the file
web_editor/static/src/scss/bootstrap_overridden.scss
which is imported in report_assets_common **before** web._assets_bootstrap
This was solving the issue for the report but had also the side-effect of
changing body font-family in enterprise as the bootstrap_overridden.scss file
is also used in web_editor._assets_backend_helpers and
web_editor._assets_frontend_helpers
42530b02fe14 had effect only on enterprise where the desired font is Roboto/Noto
Create a new bootstrap_overridden (6th of the name) file only for report

The recent refactoring odoo/odoo@f296992 wrongly moved the ace editor
style from `web_editor` to `website`, even though ace is in `«eb_editor`.
The editor is also used in Studio (which does not depend on website) so
the style was missing in this case.

Since the bootstrap update to 4.2.1 (which was made with
https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/63e52e6acfabb927aad6eaf7b020520dc206e50f)
bootstrap includes automatic validation icons when a form is validated.
This allows to remove the Odoo custom ones in the editor (which appeared
on top of the bootstrap ones).

Following the refactoring of the web_editor (JS & CSS) when adding a
long link in a task's description the line starts to overflow from the
field and create an horizontal scroll.
This commit restores the CSS word-wrap properties to the form field html
allowing to nicely break the line on a word basis, preventing a possible
overflow.
Also it doesn't make sense to apply it on an iframe.

Using chrome, the design was not pixel perfect (letting a white bar
appear around the switch). Replacing the linear gradient color by a
simple color fixes that particular problem. The design is still not
pixel perfect but those are meant to be replaced in master anyway.

After 11.0, in a code editor (ace editor) on the frontend we could not
resize the editor or see line numbers.
This happen since:
- in 64d47c0bc5 ace editor (used when editing code) was updated.
- in ajaxorg/ace@5bf78e09 the line number bar was set aria-hidden
- in 9de1bc0ee aria-hidden element were forcibly hidden
Thus the column of line number (and used for resizeing) in the code
editor was unwillingly hidden.
Since we don't want to make change in library, we fix this in our
custom CSS for the code editor.

* web_editor
Before this commit, the web_editor app defined gray utilities: bg-* and
text-* classes for gray colors (on top of theme colors). Those are now
defined for all bootstrap (note that this was already the case as the
web_editor file was put in the backend and in the frontend). The
difference is that now the gray utilities are defined just after
the standard bootstrap. This allows to complete and fix
https://github.com/odoo/odoo/pull/29253/files as text-muted in gray
card bodies were not using the correct color without this (see code
comments for details).

* Creating a new structure by transforming all the plugins in the
library using the odoo inheritance system. Plugins are easier to
implement with the AbstractPlugin to add Odoo behaviors.
* From now on, the methods of the library (in this case Summernote) can
no longer be called by other modules or files. Only the wysiwyg
widgets can access it, to simplify the updating process. The wysiwyg
object serves as an interface.
* Depending on the options the snippets will be loaded or not, the
editor will be in an iframe or not... all of this is transparent from
the outside.
* Regarding iframes, all controllers related to editing have been
removed: the new API no longer needs them. This speeds up loading,
eases testing and removes complexity for the same
features.
PUBLIC FEATURES
There are several public methods on the Wysiwyg class:
* Wysiwyg.prepare (WidgetParent): returns a deferred resolved when the
library (xml, lazy, assets...) is loaded.
* Wysiwyg.getRange (DOM): returns the range (selection in the dom)
* Wysiwyg.setRange (startNode, startOffset, endNode, endOffset): creates
a range (selection in the dom)
* Wysiwyg.setRangeFromNode (DOM, options) that creates a range from an
element (option available to select all, start or end)
A jQuery selector was added: :o_editable, which indicates whether the
current element is editable. That is, if it is contained in a tag with
the attribute 'contentEditable = "true"' or in a tag with the class
o_editable.
Several methods are also present:
* focusIn: makes a focus and places the cursor at the beginning of the
element
* focusInEnd: makes a focus and places the cursor at the end of the
element
* selectContent: makes a focus and selects the content
HTML FIELD
The HTML field can receive different options:
* style-inline: {boolean} transforms a class into an inline style when
saving and vice versa when reading.
* no-attachment: {boolean} prevents the use of attachments (in media
dialog)
* cssEdit: {xml_id} to use a template containing the css to loaded in
an iframe when editing
* cssReadonly: {xml_id} to use a template containing the css to load
into an iframe when viewing in readonly
* snippets: {xml_id} snippets template (can be used with or without
cssEdit)
* wrapper: {template} qweb static template (containing a tag:
id = "wrapper") that will include the content during editing (removed
on save)
MASS MAILING
A widget was created for mass mailing. There are now two fields:
body_html and body_arch.
body_arch contains the code with the class without conversion into
inline style, useful when editing and one with the inline style that is
visible in readonly mode and sent by email.
Advantage: no spreading errors, able to update css/theme, able to do
more changes when converting to inline style so that a maximum of mail
clients have an impeccable rendering.

Commit https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/52ec536cef2ec84af0b36746f19a8cdf9f23fe2a
made a mistake which made the backend use the website colors. This is
because the web_editor app adds its bootstrap_overridden.scss file in
both backend and frontend assets as the backend needs the editor colors
(alpha, beta, ...). However, the 'primary', 'secondary', etc that the
backend customizes should not be overridden by the web_editor. Therefore
the file contained a hack to determine if it is the backend or not...
hack which did not work anymore with the new system the mentioned
commit implements.
Also some comments were not adapted correctly by the mentioned commit.

* portal, theme_bootswatch, web, web_editor, website
With less2sass and bs3tobs4 tasks, the assets structure was reviewed to
handle the specificities of both framework and to prepare for our next
odoo tasks. In particular, the assets_helpers and bootstrap overrides
were basically split into 4 parts: utils, primary variables, secondary
variables and bootstrap variables.
(see https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/6e4db7d13a926845bf82f5b035afede42d6d5a89)
Using the !default system for the bootstrap variables parts seems now
a good improvement. This is part of what this commit does: adding the
default flag for all bootstrap variables overrides and inverting the
order of the files in the _assets_backend_helpers and
_assets_frontend_helpers templates. This allows to avoid code like this:
portal:
```
$body-bg: white;
```
website:
```
@if $var != null {
$body-bg: $var;
}
```
This code makes the body white with portal or equal to $var with website
if $var has a value. The same behavior in the new file order is achieved
with:
website:
```
$body-bg: $var !default;
```
portal:
```
$body-bg: white !default;
```
This order is now also followed for the _assets_secondary_variables
templates (there are only a few).
This commit also make better assets hierarchy by making website inherit
from portal assets (instead of web) and portal inherit from web_editor
assets (instead of web) (thus relying on strong dependencies instead of
installation order which is not always right for migrated databases).

The logic which chose if the user text color was supposed to be used as
bootstrap "dark" text color or bootstrap "light" text color
(https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/8b2dbd1441d6713d9072db03e8d3cb6c2246410f)
was fine when using the default theme with default bootstrap but was not
working as intended in some themes.
This commit also introduces a more accurate and complex method to
determine the correct contrasted color in most cases.

Adding bs4 `.is-invalid` class is supposed to add red borders on the
`form-control` element.
But the mixin `o-w-preserve-forms` prevents that style to be applied as it adds
`border: 1px solid $o-we-color-text-light;` on `.form-control`.
As the mixin selector has more strength (specificity), the bs4 is simply not
applied.
This is the case for `form-control` inside `o_technical_modal`.

What was designed as a new feature appeared as a regression: users were
not able to choose a bootstrap gray as a background color anymore but
instead got the possibiility to choose a hardcoded gray. This commit
restores the use of the custom gray palette that themes can customize
and which automatically uses the correct text color when used as a
background. This also allows to remove ugly inline style from snippet
definitions and allows to solve bugs like the described below one:
---------------------------------------
Also add bg-* classes on snippet cards:
---------------------------------------
Snippet cards are often put (or may be put by the user) in an element
which have a bg-* class on it. This means that the card will still have
a white background (as chosen by BS4 by default) but the text color will
be adapted to that ancestor bg-* classed element.
This commit forces the card background color (as suggested by BS4) with
bg-* classes.

Fixing BS behavior in https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/e24c3409d915ed73d86077b723b6e0cd77134e80
broke that button color as the button bg was set to transparent, so the
text color was computed to dark instead of light (as it should).

Current system is styling all navbars with the user color. This was not
the expected behavior but it is in fact quite nice, so we decided to
keep it. There was however a problem: choosing the menu text color only
applied to the main navbar (as it was an xpath toggling the navbar-dark
class).
This commit solves the problem by forcing navbar-light to behave as
navbar-dark automatically if the menu background is dark, and this
without any JS or extra CSS rules. This allows to get rid of the menu
text color option.
This commit also reviews the light and dark colors which are used when
website is not installed.

As an `form-group` can contains element having `form-control` class and other
not having it, we should not force height on `form-group` elements.
Typically, we could have:
div.form-group
input.form-control
button
Forcing height only on `form-control` will make the input thinner than the
button.

* website
```
$map: (
test: 1,
black: 2,
);
@debug map-get($map, 'test');
@debug map-get($map, test);
@debug map-get($map, 'black');
@debug map-get($map, black);
```
The above code leads to a:
1
1
null
2
This is because maps' keys can be *anything* in sass (even other maps).
In the example, the map is defined with unquoted `test` and `black` as
keys which are understood as the string 'test' and the *color* black.
When asking for the value for the 'black' string key... there isn't any.
This commit forces the use of quoted string as color maps' keys.

Make some changes which are needed for theme migration.
- Theme colors as user colors fallback only (not hard choice)
- Review option dependency system
|
|
* web, website
- Introduce gray color palettes (needed for themes migration)
- Synchronize BS4 color maps with individual variables (see comments
about this in the code).
- Review alpha/primary, beta/secondary matching:
Before this commit, we decided that the common way to define a color
palette was defining primary, secondary, gamma, delta and epsilon.
alpha and beta were then forced to primary and secondary without other
possibility.
The new system makes more sense:
1) define alpha, beta, gamma, delta and epsilon
2) primary and secondary will automatically be set to your alpha and
beta (allowing to style the default UI with BS4-independant
variables)
3) if you are not happy with (2), you can define primary / secondary
in your color palette so that they are not automatically set to
alpha / beta
This commit also changes what classes the editor uses. Background colors
and text colors will now use alpha/beta/gamma/delta/epsilon (not primary
and secondary anymore). For buttons, all the possibilities are suggested
but color duplicates are hidden (so if your primary and alpha are equal,
only one button color is suggested).
