2018-08-17[FIX] web: BS4, restore calendar view's sidebar filters checkboxHiral Bhavsar
Currently cross sign not appearing inline to checkbox while hovering sidebar filters and checkbox tick/untick not working properly.
2018-07-27[REF] *: BS4, 'pull-left/right' -> 'float-left/right'qsm-odoo
2018-07-27[REF] web, *: BS4, use custom BS4 checkbox everywhereqsm-odoo
Before this commit, Odoo used checkboxes in three different ways: - A simple <input type="checkbox"/>, mainly in the frontend. The style is browser dependant. - Same as above but with the BS3, checkbox structure. The style is still the same, but the alignement is supposed to be better (which is not always the case). - The Odoo official structure: ``` <div class="o_checkbox"> <input type="checkbox"/> <span/> </div> ``` which allows to have a cross-browser checkbox style and correct alignements. The goal after this commit is to only use the BS4 *custom* checkbox structure to achieve the same goal as our official structure (and remove that one): ``` <div class="custom-control custom-checkbox"> <input type="checkbox" class="custom-control-input" id="customCheck1"> <label class="custom-control-label" for="customCheck1">...</label> </div> ``` /!\ Labels are now required (use a zero-width space if necessary)
2018-07-27[REF] *: BS4, adapt formsqsm-odoo
The 'form-horizontal' class have been removed; the '.form-group' elements must now use the 'row' class for an horizontal layout. The 'control-label' class was renamed to 'col-form-label'. The 'help-block' class was renamed to 'form-text'. The 'has-error' and 'has-success' classes have been removed and replaced by a new system using the :valid and :invalid pseudo-classes, when a parent has the 'was-validated' class. While this system is great, it is not straightforward to use it in Odoo. Fortunately, BS4 provides the 'is-valid' and 'is-invalid' classes as fallback. This commit replaces the 'has-error' and 'has-success' classes by 'o_has_error' and 'o_has_success' classes (for JS compatibility) and use the 'is-*' fallback classes. (The 'has-warning' class has no equivalent but was unused in Odoo anyway).
2018-07-27[REF] *: BS4, rename btn-default to btn-secondaryqsm-odoo
BS4 "btn-default" class was replaced with "btn-secondary", which makes more sense.
2018-07-27[REF] *: BS4, remove the use of btn-smqsm-odoo
Odoo made the bad choice of using the 'btn-sm' class for every button instead of configuring the padding for default 'btn' to be smaller. In BS4, the style of btn-sm is actually more complex, lowering the font-size too. Also, btn-xs was removed so we would not have the possibility to display smaller button than our default ones. This commit removes btn-sm wherever it was used. Unfortunately, this might remove it at some places where it made sense but this can be restored in a second time.
2018-07-27[REF] *: BS4, adapt display classesqsm-odoo
The system completely changed. I also had to adapt classes to new screen breakpoints. hidden/hide -> d-none show -> d-block hidden-xs -> d-none d-md-(block/inline/...) hidden-sm -> d-md-none d-lg-(block/inline/...) hidden-md -> d-lg-none d-xl-(block/inline/...) hidden-lg -> d-xl-none visible-xs-* -> d-* d-md-none visible-sm-* -> d-none d-md-* d-lg-none visible-md-* -> d-none d-lg-* d-xl-none visible-lg-* -> d-none d-xl-* hidden-print -> d-print-none visible-print-* -> d-none d-print-* ... and all possible combination of those had to be handled too.
2018-06-22[IMP] Improve compatibility with screen readers (accessibility) (#24574)kujiu
Today, Odoo is really tricky to use without seeing the screen, it must be improved to be usable. This PR forbid to use labels without a "for" attribute, add some title, rule and aria attributes in HTML. With that, Odoo will be fully usable with a screen reader. * [IMP] Labels must have a for attribute. Improve accessibility. * [IMP] Better error message when trying to read a missing cached value * [FIX] Add some aria-label and title attributes for screen readers. * [FIX] Template name is not included in the error message in case of SyntaxError in QWeb * [FIX] Improve the Tour failed at step error message to be more explicit. * [IMP] Add aria-labels * [FIX] Add missing aria-label on failing test * [IMP] aria-hidden means hidden. 2018-03-05[FIX] web: Calendar: control panel buttons in mobileAaron Bohy
In mobile, we want a special 'Today' button to be displayed on the bottom right corner of the control panel. Rev. ebe58d92 enforces this by defining less layout rules on the control panel. However, those rules apply globally, for all control panels, not only in Calendar views. So it produces undesired behaviors in other views. This rev. removes the undesired less rules, and instead appends the 'Today' button in the pager area, which is in the bottom right corner.
2018-02-27[IMP] web: Calendar: mobile UX improvementsSuraj Shukla
The following tweaks have been applied on mobile devices: - remove left and right arrow in control panel - enable swipe navigation (instead of left/right arrows) - replace 'Today' button by a calendar icon - remove static text 'Attendees:' in events - shorten header content in week mode to prevent them from overlapping - ensure that the calendar fits in the screen Also introduce a mobile test suite for the calendar view. 2017-09-07[FIX] web: allow default value for calendar quick createAkash Bhavsar
* fix typo, widged is actually widget; * support name coming from context for calendar event quick create; Support of context could be made generic in quick create mechanism but in the meantime this fix is considered as sufficient for the use case we have.
2017-07-03[FIX] web: display indicator when many attendees in calendar eventDavid Monjoie
In saas-15, when an event had more than 3 attendees, it used to show a '+' at the left of the avatars. This behavior was lost in saas-16 where it became 'display 5 avatars max and that's it'. This commit brings back the behavior of saas-15 and improves it such that the '+' sign displays the number of additional attendees whose avatars are not shown and displays it on the right. Example for 7 attendees, '[]' representing an avatar: saas-15: +[][][] saas-16 before: [][][][][] saas-16 now: [][][]+4
2017-06-01[FIX] web: add `o_input` class on calendar dialog inputMartin Geubelle

2017-04-28[DOC] web: add documentation to use calendarChristophe Matthieu
The calendar view was changed with the new view, but the documentation was not updated.
2017-04-11[REF] web, *: redesign all JS viewsGéry Debongnie
This commit introduce a full redesign of all JS views. We started basically from scratch. The goal was to unify all the various views under a common framework, to make them testable, to make then usable in different conditions (in studio, or in the frontend), and to make our lives easier. Some important points are: - we introduced new coding guidelines (camelCase, 80 chars width, ...) - we have a brand new testing framework (still QUnit based) - kanban view moved to the web addon - calendar view (formerly web_calender) moved to web as well - the tree view was removed - all new code should be documented We hope that this code is the start of a new era for the Odoo web client, we want to have a high quality codebase, well documented, well tested, well designed. Work done by the framework team: mostly aab, ged, chm, dmo, qsm
