2020-09-30[FIX] web: no export button if user not in export groupAaron Bohy
PR #45400 disabled the export feature for those who were not in group 'base.group_allow_export'. However, it only considered the 'Export' link in the actions menu. In list view, an export button was still displayed in the control panel (next to 'Create'), whether the user was in the group or not. This commit fixes this issue. 2020-09-24[FIX] web: Get correctly focusable elements on selection widgetsLuis González
When navigating fields using the keyboard, it's not possible to reach most of widgets for selection fields. That is because most of them consist of one main element containing several other ones, one per possible selectable value (e.g. buttons). When their focusable element is computed, the main element is taken, instead of its sub-elements, which causes the field to be skipped when navigating. This commit fixes the above, as well as some missing aria attributes and keyboard events, for the following widgets: - `priority` - `state_selection` - `statusbar` - `radio` opw-231112 closes #58302 closes odoo/odoo#58418 X-original-commit: 2471e7c176c5df0f310f2939f8a6cf6948c0ac0c Signed-off-by: Nicolas Lempereur (nle) <nle@odoo.com>

2020-09-01[IMP] base: Document layout preview improvementsSimon Genin (ges)
The document layout preview is a complete defferent simplified template with its own css that replicates at best the different styles. It does not have the external layout features and lack of fidelity. The new preview actually use the real documents templates and put the result in an iframe. It now has a high fidelity, though not perfect. The goal is for a better onboarding, where clients see easely how documents will look if they had an app to generate them. Of course, the data on the document is a false invoice. Refactor all this from base to web. Task ID 2304177 closes odoo/odoo#56415 Signed-off-by: Lucas Perais (lpe) <lpe@odoo.com>

2020-07-23[IMP] *: adapt modules to Owl search panelJulien Mougenot
Adaptation of the rest of the environment to the changes regarding the refactored search panel and model. This commit includes the following changes: - Since the control panel model is now part of the search model, the view widget is responsible of its instantiation with the appropriate API; creating an ActionModel holding the required model extensions. - The controller is now importing/exporting the state of the entire search model as well as the current state of the search panel (given throught its props). Changes have been made to adapt to this behaviour. - The multiple components linked to the control panel model have been adapted to reflect the changes brought to it (they will now listen to the "searchModel" instead of the "controlPanelModel"). - The `test_utils_create` methods have also been adapted to properly instantiate a searchModel Part of task 2228968 Co-authored-by: Julien Mougenot <jum@odoo.com> Co-authored-by: Mathieu Duckerts-Antoine <dam@odoo.com>

2020-06-30[IMP] web, *: replace the bootstrap backdrop element with a bg on modalsBenjamin Vray
*: web_editor Do not display the backdrop element added by bootstrap in the body and add a background on the modal to keep the same effect. The bootstrap backdrop was probably useful for compatibility with <IE9 but is no longer needed. This also avoids z-index issues because modals could be opened in an element (e.g. the website #wrapwrap) whose stacking context is different of the body one (where the backdrop is opened). This would make the backdrop appears on top of the modal. Part of https://github.com/odoo/odoo/pull/49142 Related to task-2229551 Co-authored-by: qsm-odoo <qsm@odoo.com>

This commit replaces the "time range menu" in the control panel by a new component: the "comparison menu". Its purpose is roughly the same: compare a period of data in a reporting view with the previous period or the previous year. Its implementation is a bit simpler: it will only appear if at least one date filter is selected in the search view, and will suggest to compare each selected date option with the previous period or the previous year. 2020-06-04[REF] web: force dropdown menu icon through getterJulien Mougenot
Before this ref, the dropdown menu got his icon directly from his props. This means that any inheriting class had either to define its icon with the 'default_props' key or to have its parent giving it in the props. Now, the icon is retrieved from the props via a getter (same as title and items) and can be overridden to force a fixed icon on the class.
2020-05-15[IMP] web: various Popover improvementsSébastien Theys
Close can now be requested by children (slot content) with the event `o-popover-close`. This feature is necessary if we want a "close" button inside the popover itself, which is the case for mail.activity "Mark Done". Clicking on the popover target now acts as a toggle, which is also a feature that was expected from the previous popover implementation. Add a specific class (`o_is_open`) when the popover is displayed to be able to style its target depending on whether it is displayed or not. Ensure computed position is whole number of pixels to prevent flicker issue on Firefox. Remove forced width to let the component grow with its content. 2020-04-23[FIX] web: properly define control panel layoutJulien Mougenot
Before this commit, some elements in the control panel were not properly encapsulated in layout-related parent elements and this caused some inconsistencies if some of the control panel components were not displayed. For example: if the breadrumbs were missing, the search bar went to the left side instead of the right. Now, all components are in a grid-like structure (in desktop mode) and should not overstep their given boundaries. The layout in mobile remains unchanged since the top part behaves quite differently. closes odoo/odoo#50057 X-original-commit: 533db5991a5bb871198485cd71a63f75a8c6becf Related: odoo/enterprise#10148 Signed-off-by: Aaron Bohy (aab) <aab@odoo.com> Signed-off-by: Julien Mougenot (jum) <jum@odoo.com>
2020-04-14[IMP] web: add a <Popover> componentDamien Bouvy
Using bootstrap popover with owl is possible, but with a lot of friction. This commit adds a Popover element to ease developments that require a popover. This component takes 2 props: - position='bottom' (optional): 'top', 'bottom', 'left', 'right' - title (optional) Its usage requires setting an `opened` slot for the content of the popover, whilst the 'trigger' of the popover uses the default slot. E.g. ```xml <Parent> <Popover> <t t-set="opened"> <p>You have opened the popover, congratulations!</p> <button t-on-click='_handlerOnParent'>Dispatch cake</button> </t> <button class="btn btn-primary">Click me!</button> </Popover> </Parent> ``` Note that: - only one popover can be opened at a time (opening a popover will close any previously opened popover) - `Popover` uses `Portal` under the hood, so events are propagated correctly even though the popover is teleported elsewhere in the dom (see example in this commit message with `_handlerOnParent`) - `<Popover>` is registed as a global component in QWeb and does not need to be added to a Component's subcomponents list closes odoo/odoo#47710 Signed-off-by: Damien Bouvy (dbo) <dbo@odoo.com>

2020-03-30[FIX] web: Make company switcher widget usable with the keyboardLuis González
Background ========== After the refactor on the multi-company behavior performed for v13, now there are two possible actions per company, depending on where they're clicked: switch to the company or toggle it. Such actions were handled by `<div>` elements, which aren't keyboard-reachable by default. The Issue ========= Because of the above, the company switcher was neither reachable nor usable when using the keyboard. Solution ======== To solve this, the following is performed: - Add HTML attributes required to make elements reachable, along with their corresponding aria attributes - Actions that are currently triggered when clicking on an element, now are also triggered when the keyboard focus is on the element and `ENTER` or `SPACE` are hit Closes #47650 closes odoo/odoo#48627 X-original-commit: 33a7238d0b03ccb89e4c4d2f0d7380b5649dc4d4 Signed-off-by: Nicolas Lempereur (nle) <nle@odoo.com> Signed-off-by: Luis González [Vauxoo] <luisg123v@users.noreply.github.com>
2020-03-25[FIX] web: Add missing aria attributes to selectable menu itemsLuis González
Some menus contain items that are selected/checked when they're activated, e.g. when a filter is applied, the menu item corresponding to that filter is checked. However, that information of what items are checked and what don't, is not reported correctly using aria attributes. To solve the above, the following is performed: - Attribute `aria-checked` is set accordingly, usually using the same logic as the clas `selected` - Attribute `role` is set to `menuitemcheckbox` or `menuitemradio` instead of `menuitem`, so `aria-checked` is applicable This applies on the following cases: - Standard topbar's menus: Filter, Group by and Favorites - The company switcher widget closes odoo/odoo#48301 X-original-commit: 64c0b47c0e8e8fdd3fa9b1bc13f2b49b6f49f4e1 Signed-off-by: Nicolas Lempereur (nle) <nle@odoo.com>
2020-03-25[FIX] web, mail: Harmful or incomplete aria-label attributesLuis González
Some elements contain superfluous `aria-label` attributes, which overrides any default useful information. For instance, some dropdown menus contain the `aria-label` "Dropdown menu" (e.g. the company switcher), which doesn't add any useful information, as dropdown menus are already labelled correctly using `aria-expanded`. This change applies on the following buttons: - Schedule an activity - View attachments - View followers - Switch company - Open user options from systray - The widget `state_selection` closes odoo/odoo#48317 X-original-commit: e3c7f66e89d7be39dfa4cc3d6b038c6f4a114aa5 Signed-off-by: Nicolas Lempereur (nle) <nle@odoo.com>
2020-03-13[REF] web: Control panel OwlJulien Mougenot
Refactoring of the control panel with the Owl framework. The MVC structure of the control panel has been changed to a 'component <-> model' relationship. As such: - Removed the old control panel: view/model/controller/renderer - Created a new Owl Component (ControlPanel) - Created a new class: the Model (an Owl Store did not fit here) and a newly designed ControlPanelModel extending it Refactored all inner subcomponents, including: - Pager - ActionMenus (peviously SideBar) - Filter menu > Custom filter item - Group by menu > Custom group by item > Removal of groupby_menu_mixin (and refactored graph controller in sibling commit) - Time range menu - Favorite menu > Custom favorite item > Moved the favorite menu registry to the favorite_menu file - Search bar > Removed and splitted auto-completion dropdown logic between the new SearchBar Component (descriptions) and to the new ControlPanelModel (domains). The templates (all in web/base.xml) have been adapted to the new standards. Most of the DOM structure remains unchanged with some occasional improvements (replace hiding with not rendering, removed pointless wrapper divs, etc.). New Owl component: Dialog. It does not rely on Bootstrap but behaves the same and does not conflict with legacy dialogs. To call this component, you need to define it in the XML parent template instead of calling it in the JS file, and put a flag in the parent state to toggle the dialog. Old dialog file has also been slightly updated to ensure compatibility between both versions. This commit also updates a list view test which did not wait for click events to properly trigger and would cause the new dialog system to crash.

2019-12-09[REF] web: rewrite pivot view renderer with OWLPierre Rousseau
Because the webclient and other higher level components such as the actionManager are not yet rewritten in OWL, we cannot make a complete migration of the controller and the model to a more OWL-ish code. We have rewritten the renderer completely in OWL, it uses more extensively a template and manages its own state and its sub-components. We did not rewrite the controller, however we have made it inherit from `web.ControllerAdapter` which is a thin compatibility layer used when a odoo controller uses a OWL renderer. In the tests, the only changes are that all the events triggered by the test and handled by OWL must be triggered on DOM nodes directly and not on JQuery elements. closes odoo/odoo#39491 Related: odoo/enterprise#7135 Signed-off-by: VincentSchippefilt <VincentSchippefilt@users.noreply.github.com> Co-authored-by: VincentSchippefilt <vsc@odoo.com> Co-authored-by: pro-odoo <pro@odoo.com>

Reproduce the issue - Install CRM - Go in CRM > Reporting > Pipelines - Click on the first "Group by" button The dropdown menu is out of the screen at 100% zoom. If we want to see the whole menu we have to dezoom ("Ctrl" + "-") Cause We are using bootstrap to handle dropdowns. Bootstrap uses a library named "popper.js" to compute the position of the dropdown according to the remaining space. 2019-10-31[FIX] web: dropdowns can't be in a relative-positioned elementLucas Perais (lpe)
Before this commit, when a dropdown overflew its container i.e. in the case of a long filter menu in modal The scrolling of that dropdown to get to Add custom Filter was impossible This was because dropdowns react pretty bad when contained in a relative positioned container https://github.com/twbs/bootstrap/issues/26512 https://github.com/twbs/bootstrap/issues/28513 !! 2019-10-16[IMP] web: many2many_binary, binary, image, add the option ↵Debauche Stéphane
``accepted_file_extensions`` Purpose ======= We want to add an option on the widgets - many2many_binary, - binary, - image This option specifies what file extensions the user can pick from the file input dialog box. Examples ======== ```xml <field widget="many2many_binary" options="{'accepted_file_extensions': 'image/*'}"/> <field widget="many2many_binary" options="{'accepted_file_extensions': '.png,.jpeg'}"/> <field widget="many2many_binary" options="{'accepted_file_extensions': 'application/pdf'}"/> <field widget="image" options="{'accepted_file_extensions': '.png,.jpeg'}"/> <field widget="binary" options="{'accepted_file_extensions': '.pdf,.svg'}"/> ``` How === Add an option (accepted_file_extensions) in the template ``HiddenInputFile`` (the widget many2many_binary is using this template) So, we can also use this new option in others widgets using ``HiddenInputFile`` In the many2many_binary, read the ``nodeOptions`` and set the widget attribute ``accepted_file_extensions`` We also have to fix some other widget, because an property ``image_only`` was already existing in the template ``HiddenInputFile`` (we just need to replace ``image_only=True`` to ``accepted_file_extensions='image/*'`` The widget ``FieldPdfViewer`` (pdf_viewer) now use the new option to filtrate PDF (instead of removing the <input/> and adding <input accept='.pdf'/>). Tests ===== We also test if the option is correctly set on the <input/> - binary - image - many2many_binary Impacted widgets =============== - many2many_binary - image: this widget use ``options="{accepted_file_extensions='image/*'}"`` instead of ``image_only=True`` - tablet_image: same as ``image`` Task #2082815 closes odoo/odoo#38351 Signed-off-by: VincentSchippefilt <VincentSchippefilt@users.noreply.github.com>
2019-10-01[FIX] web: repair keyboard navigation in filter menuMathieu Duckerts-Antoine
Before this commit, invisible filters were rendered by QWeb but hidden in the filter menu. This used to break the keyboard navigation in the filter menu. Now we don't render at all those filters since they were completely useless anyway. This fixes the original problem. 2019-10-07[FIX] web: dropdown boundary overflowLucas Perais (lpe)
Open a search view modal ("search more" on a m2o) Select a filter that will make records fall to zero The modal will shrink Trigger the opening of a dropdown (Filters), and make sure that there are many many menu items there (many filters) Before this commit, the dropdown was bigger than the modal which had a scroll bar, however, the dropdown itself was not scrollable properly So, clicking in it to select a menu item will fail when scrolled all the way down, because elements did not actually followed the scroll After this commit, the dropdown follows the scroll, and it is possible to use it even way down We use a behavior of bootstrap 4 itself: FIX: https://github.com/twbs/bootstrap/pull/24976 ISSUE: https://github.com/twbs/bootstrap/issues/24251 OPW 2076337 closes odoo/odoo#38080 X-original-commit: c3273b7a1c0c09aeef23df4ba4be8d68fd46a6f3 Signed-off-by: Lucas Perais (lpe) <lpe@odoo.com>
