2020-09-15[FIX] web: list: call mounted on subcomponents at reloadAaron Bohy
Issue was spotted in list views containing the "badge" widget with decorations (e.g. in the Purchase Order list view). At first, the decorations were correctly applied, but they weren't anymore after a reload (e.g. after toggling a filter). They weren't because the list renderer didn't called 'on_attach_callback' on its subwidgets at reload (thus, 'mounted' wasn't called on its subcomponents, and the decorations are applied in the mounted hook). This commit moves the logic from the FormRenderer to the BasicRenderer, so that it applies on List, Kanban, and Form views. This commit also removes the transition scss rule on the badge field widget as it caused a flickering at reload. 2020-02-06[IMP] web: show % symbol outside the input in percentage widgetMichael Mattiello (mcm)
Before this commit the % symbol was part of the input. We could write a value with the % symbol to divide the value by 100 (50% = 0.5, 50 = 50) This commit removes the % symbol from the input and adds it in a span after the input so we do not need to write the % symbol anymore. 2019-09-19[IMP] *: remove image_64 and clean viewsSébastien Theys
There are too many image sizes. Since they are stored resized this takes time to generate when saving a new image, it's more rows on the attachment table, more files on the disk, ... 64px is close enough to 128px that it can be removed without a big impact on download size. It will even reduce download and number of requests when both images are displayed because now only one has to be downloaded and then benefit from cache. The difference between the two is typically around 1.5kB which is negligible these days, especially when the request overhead is around 0.5kB already, not even taking into account other factors such as latency. If a 64px image must absolutely be returned, it is still possible to pass the size parameters to the image route. But the current guideline is to handle resizing in the views when necessary. Views ===== - remove width and height attributes when existing CSS rules are overriding them (eg. `.oe_kanban_avatar` in the right context) - add CSS rules instead of width and height attributes when possible - use `object-fit: cover;` where width and height are forced to avoid distortion of non-square images - for products, use `object-fit: contain;` instead, keep ratio but without crop - add new CSS rules where the expected size was max 64px*64px before due to the image size itself - remove `img-fluid` where using size classes to avoid conflicting rules task-2060865 closes odoo/odoo#36147 Signed-off-by: Sébastien Theys (seb) <seb@odoo.com>

2019-03-06[FIX] web: hide CopyClipboard widget button when pointlessMartin Geubelle
The widget has been moved in rev. odoo/odoo@15f3bbe but was not very generic. In particular, there was a traceback when clicking on the button if the field had no value (the button was displayed for readonly fields in create mode). The button is now only appended in readonly mode (a `button` inside an `input` or a `textarea` is not very DOM friendly) if the field has a value. 2019-01-17[IMP] web_editor,*: Refactoring the wysiwyg editor and 'html' fieldChristophe Matthieu
* Creating a new structure by transforming all the plugins in the library using the odoo inheritance system. Plugins are easier to implement with the AbstractPlugin to add Odoo behaviors. * From now on, the methods of the library (in this case Summernote) can no longer be called by other modules or files. Only the wysiwyg widgets can access it, to simplify the updating process. The wysiwyg object serves as an interface. * Depending on the options the snippets will be loaded or not, the editor will be in an iframe or not... all of this is transparent from the outside. * Regarding iframes, all controllers related to editing have been removed: the new API no longer needs them. This speeds up loading, eases testing and removes complexity for the same features. PUBLIC FEATURES There are several public methods on the Wysiwyg class: * Wysiwyg.prepare (WidgetParent): returns a deferred resolved when the library (xml, lazy, assets...) is loaded. * Wysiwyg.getRange (DOM): returns the range (selection in the dom) * Wysiwyg.setRange (startNode, startOffset, endNode, endOffset): creates a range (selection in the dom) * Wysiwyg.setRangeFromNode (DOM, options) that creates a range from an element (option available to select all, start or end) A jQuery selector was added: :o_editable, which indicates whether the current element is editable. That is, if it is contained in a tag with the attribute 'contentEditable = "true"' or in a tag with the class o_editable. Several methods are also present: * focusIn: makes a focus and places the cursor at the beginning of the element * focusInEnd: makes a focus and places the cursor at the end of the element * selectContent: makes a focus and selects the content HTML FIELD The HTML field can receive different options: * style-inline: {boolean} transforms a class into an inline style when saving and vice versa when reading. * no-attachment: {boolean} prevents the use of attachments (in media dialog) * cssEdit: {xml_id} to use a template containing the css to loaded in an iframe when editing * cssReadonly: {xml_id} to use a template containing the css to load into an iframe when viewing in readonly * snippets: {xml_id} snippets template (can be used with or without cssEdit) * wrapper: {template} qweb static template (containing a tag: id = "wrapper") that will include the content during editing (removed on save) MASS MAILING A widget was created for mass mailing. There are now two fields: body_html and body_arch. body_arch contains the code with the class without conversion into inline style, useful when editing and one with the inline style that is visible in readonly mode and sent by email. Advantage: no spreading errors, able to update css/theme, able to do more changes when converting to inline style so that a maximum of mail clients have an impeccable rendering. 2018-08-13[IMP] web: float_factor and float_toggle widgetsjem-odoo
This commit provides new js widgets for list, kanban and form views on float field. 1/ 'float_factor' displays the normal float field, but takes a conversion factor as option. The displays value is the normal one multiplied by the factor. You can use the widget like <field name="my_float_field" widget="float_factor" option="{'factor': 2}"/> 2/ 'float_toggle' displays a button (in edit mode) looping on a range of given value at each click. A conversion factor is optional (default will be 1) to display a converted value, but sent to non converted one to the server. You can use the widget like <field name="my_float" widget="float_toggle" option="{'range': [0, 0.5, 1], 'factor': 2}"/> 'range' and 'factor' are put in the options. In simple read mode, the widget display the value as a traditionnal text (like a normal char field). This commit provides tests and documentation for those 2 widgets. Task #39079
2018-08-03[IMP] Portal - Share link : Easily share the url of a documentMitali Patel
Purpose ======= - Quickly share the url to someone else (a client, a colleague,...) - Ensure that the recipient can access at least the portal view of the shared record. - Typically used when a client cannot retrieve the mail to access his order. The share link can be used in this case. Specifications ============== For any object inheriting form portal.mixin: - Add a button SHARE (not visible in edit mode) - When clicking on this button, a popup opens with : - A warning message for tasks and projects only (see below) - the link (like in gmail) that can be copied - Recipients - mail composer (with preselected template) ==> see below - button [Send Link] [Copy Link] Discard - After sharing document, put internal note like "Document shared to xyz,...." with template message - Anyone with the link, even anonymous user (not logged in) can have access to the document with the access token provided in the url. Impacted models: - account.invoice (Community) - project.project (Community) - project.task (Community) - purchase.order (Community) - sale.order (Community) - helpdesk.ticket (Enterprise) Warning messages and access rules: Allowed : - SO canceled or draft will be accessible with the link with access_token - If the customer account is B2B (signup not enabled), the recipient will anyway see the document as the user specifically wants the recipient to see the document. Restrictions : - For Project and Task, if the privacy is not public, then, there is a contradiction between the access_token mechanism and the privacy of the document. - A warning message will be displayed in the share wizard to inform the user if the document cannot be visible by the recipients and to ask him to set the privacy to 'Visible by following customer'. The send button will, in that case, be hidden. - To avoid to block the share for a new project, default privacy value is now set to 'Visible by followong customer' Technical implementation ======================== - Move the access_token mechanism (field + methods + mail controller) to the portal.mixin to be able to use it in a generic way for each object inheriting the portal.mixin - Generalise a part of the _*model*_get_page_view_values method into a single one in portal - Generalize the _*model*_check_access into the portal controller of the portal module - Remove the init_column + default value for the access_token > old records have an access_token, > new one won't but it will be generated on demand via the get_access_token Done for performance reasons - Add share button into action menu separately. + kanban view context menu (except for task and project where button not in action menu but 'simple' button for task and project because other modules already provide action to send documents by email, which is not the case for project and task.) - Add a sign_token used to authentify the recipient in the portal view chatter, if any. The message will be posted as if the user was logged in. - Set the _get_share_url as private for security reason - Add a redirect parameter to _get_share_url to get If false : The direct portal view url If True : The redirect url (mail/view/?) - Cleaning up unnecessary code - Bug fix : - Before, if user was not logged and record had partner_id, if partner id was null, post message was done as admin. Now, the post message is done as public user. - If the user had an uid but had no access_token, he could be able to gain the access token of the record. check_access_rights was missing in the get_access_action. Task ID : 30985 Closes #25629
2018-07-27[REF] web, *: BS4, adapt radio button structureqsm-odoo
Use BS4 *custom* structure for radio buttons to allow customizing their style and have cross-browser style.
2018-07-27[REF] *: BS4, review color systemqsm-odoo
Odoo used to declare two main colors: primary and optional (which are purple and turquoise in enterprise). Those were respectively assigned to the 'primary' bootstrap variable and the 'btn-primary' bootstrap variable. BS4, however, does not allow to have a different primary color for buttons. Instead, the 'primary' color is used for all 'primary' related components and utility classes, same as for all other colors. So, if we want to keep our enterprise buttons green, our 'optional' colors had to become our 'primary' color. The old odoo primary is then renamed to the 'odoo' color. The palette of grays is now larger by default and is numbered from 100 to 900 alongside the $black and $white variables. The equivalence for older variables and the way we used them is: $gray-darker -> gray 900 (unused before) $gray-dark -> gray 900 $gray -> gray 700 $gray-light -> gray 600 $gray-lighter-darker -> gray 400 (the old variable was created by us) $gray-lighter-dark -> gray 300 (the old variable was created by us) $gray-lighter -> gray 200 Fortunately, the 'lighter' variations we created fit well in the default BS4 system ! Unfortunately, our $gray-lighter which carried the same function as $gray-200 (see above) is very close to the new default $gray-100 and quite distant from the new $gray-200. This will be handled in the next commit.
2018-07-27[REF] *: BS4, adapt font-size and padding variablesqsm-odoo
BS variables were renamed or changed and all (most) variables now use 'rem' units instead of 'px' unit.
2018-07-27[REF] *: BS4, adapt media queriesqsm-odoo
media queries that target a specific screen size handled by bootstrap have now a more convenient way to be defined: ``` @media (min-width: $screen-sm-min) { ... } -> @include media-breakpoint-up(sm) { ... } ``` ``` @media (max-width: $screen-sm-max) { ... } -> @include media-breakpoint-down(sm) { ... } ``` ``` @media (min-width: $screen-sm-min) and (max-width: $screen-sm-max) { ... } -> @include media-breakpoint-only(sm) { ... } ``` ``` @media (min-width: $screen-sm-min) and (max-width: $screen-md-max) { ... } -> @include media-breakpoint-between(sm, md) { ... } ``` Also, bootstrap has changed the values for its default screen sizes: ------------------ | BS3 | BS4 | ------------------ 0 | XS | XS | -> Portrait Mobile 576 | / | SM | -> Landscape Mobile 768 | SM | MD | -> Portrait Tablet 992 | MD | LG | -> Landscape Tablet / Small Desktop 1200 | LG | XL | -> Desktop ------------------ While it is possible to configure BS variables to behave as BS3, we took the decision to keep the BS4 variables untouched. BS4 system seems indeed better and having the purest bootstrap possible is better for Odoo to be used as a framework.
2018-07-27[REF] *: get rid of vendor prefixesqsm-odoo
BS4 do not provide vendor prefixes scss mixins anymore as it is meant to be used with the 'autoprefixer' library. As we only support the last version of every major browsers in Odoo, we took the decision to not use the library as it was also complex to integrate in Odoo. We decided to do the library's work by hand if it ever become necessary.
2018-07-23[FIX] web: correctly render "font awesome" icons on buttonsKishan Gajjar
Revision on https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/9de1bc0 From the commit above, the style of some field binary images are broken. This is due to changes from `<span>` to `<button>`. The style has been altered by the default browser's style, which does the following on Google Chrome: ``` border-color: white; border: 1px solid; padding: 1px 7px 2px; ``` Most browsers set a border and some padding on buttons. This commit fixes the style specifically for "font awesome" icons on buttons, by removing the border and by overwriting the padding. 2018-04-18[REF] *: review scss variables handlingqsm-odoo
Unlike LESS, SCSS variables are not lazy loaded. Our system has thus to be updated. This commit creates new templates which are t-called in assets bundles (to replace the old less_helpers template): - web._assets_utils: regroups the mixins and functions which *can* (and so should) be available in every asset bundle - web._assets_primary_variables: regroups the variables (or mixins used as variables) which *can* (and so should) be available in every asset bundle - web._assets_secondary_variables: same as above but provides an environnement where all the 'primary' ones are accessible. This is for example useful to handle the community/enterprise split: // Community primary variables $o-pink-color: pink; // enterprise color $o-brand-primary: blue; // Enterprise primary variables $o-brand-primary: $o-pink-color; // Community secondary variables $o-my-darker-primary: darken($o-brand-primary, 5%); => If there was only one variable template, enterprise edition would have been able to define its primary color at the end but the darker primary would not have been updated. Using the "!default" system and putting enterprise definition above would not have solved the problem as the $o-pink-color would not have been accessible. - web._assets_backend_helpers: regroups the variables, mixins and functions which *can* (and so should) be available in the backend asset bundle only. This is especially (only?) useful for bootstrap variables overriddes. - web._assets_frontend_helpers: regroups the variables, mixins and functions which *can* (and so should) be available in the frontend asset bundle only. This is especially (only?) useful for bootstrap variables overriddes. Note: bootstrap variables are not accessible in any of those anymore. If you have variables that should depend on bootstrap, you have 3 solutions: - Find another way: your variable is probably useless, use bootstrap variables directly or create a variable that will influence the value of bootstrap variables. E.g. instead of declaring: `$myvar: $bootstrapvar * 3` and using $myvar alone, declare: `$myvar: 3` and use `$myvar * $bootstrapvar` where needed. - Declare a copy of the bootstrap variable and use that one. In that case, you should also force-set the real bootstrap one to be sure they match (this should be done in appropriate templates mentioned above). E.g. ``` $o-boostrapvar: 5; ... $boostrapvar: $o-bootstrapvar; ``` - Set your variable to null and set it to your bootstrap expression in the file you will need it (where bootstrap variables are accessible) without forgetting to add the !default flag to allow overriddes. ``` $myvar: null; ... $myvar: $bootstrapvar * 5 !default; ``` This commit also partly changes the variable names to follow the convention: $o-<app_id>-<name> where 'app_id' is the current's app name or a meaningful unique identifier ("theme" for all themes for example, as no multiple themes can be installed).
2018-04-18[REF] *: convert less content to scss contentqsm-odoo
Convert content so that the assets compile on app installation. The style is still broken after this as the variables/mixins/... are not defined in the right order (as it did not matter in LESS but does in SCSS). This commit basically changes: - Variables: @var_hello -> $var-hello - Mixins: .mixin_world() {} -> @mixin mixin-world {} - Classes used as mixin: .my_class() -> @extend .my_class - Here there were no other solution than to convert the use of a mixin call by the use of an extend as a first approximation - LESS functions -> SCSS functions (e.g. fade -> rgba) - Move first variable definition before the variable is used - Still need to make sure last variable definition is at the right place
2018-04-18[REF] *: rename all LESS files to SCSSqsm-odoo
This is a simple renaming without adaptation.
