Since rev. odoo/odoo@015958d it is possible to add buttons in list group
headers. These buttons are defined in <groupby> nodes, pointing to m2o
fields. Modifiers specified on these buttons thus use fields on the m2o
comodel.
There was a traceback in editable list view, when grouping by a m2o
that defines a groupby button with modifiers as the modifiers are not
registered with the same datapoint. When updating the modifiers, one
must ensure that the modifier are related to the updated record.

This rev. adds params to the 'web_read_group' method, allowing to
search_read records inside each groups in a single RPC, instead of
doing a 'web_read_group' RPC followed by n 'search_read' RPCs,
where n is the number of opened groups.

With this rev., when there are a lot of groups in a grouped list
view, groups are displayed under several pages, whereas they were
all displayed in the same page before.
This is especially interesting with the new 'expand' attribute, to
ensure that we don't read records for a large number of groups.
By default, the groups limit is set to 80 (like records), and to 10
is the 'expand' attribute is set to true. This limit can be
overriden with the 'groups_limit' attribute.

When this attribute is set to true on the <tree> root node, in a
grouped list view, first level groups are automatically opened.

Old subwidgets of a widget inhereriting from BasicRender were not
correctly destroyed. This was the cause of various problems when
cycling over this.widgets.

Task #1891970
Original p. configurator commit d3530eb
Purpose
=======
- The p. configurator now comes with a widget that is "o2m" like in the SO lines view.
The widget is only used on the added "product_template_id" field on the SO line.
This widget controls the opening of the configuration window and removes the need of a "Configure a product" button.
The "SectionAndNoteListRenderer" is now cleaned from p. configurator specific code.
The widget is also responsible for handling the configuration provided by the p. configurator form
and applying it on the SO line with a 'field_changed' event that updates all the necessary fields.
- Added support for 'MULTI' and 'DELETE_ALL' operations on X2Many fields in basic_model.js
- 'MULTI' allows to batch multiple operations at once
- 'DELETE_ALL' behaves like 'DELETE' with all the current data of the field
Spec
=======
- remove "configure a product" from sale order lines
When the product configurator is active, replace the product_product_id by a product_template_id
in the sale order line. When we select a template without variants, it sets the variant automatically,
but when we select a product template having variants, it opens the configurator dialog.
- add a widget to modify the product configuration in the sale order line (next to product template field)
- UX improvements:
- Invert image and configuration in the main screen
- If the product doesn't have an image, hide it instead of showing the placeholder (only for first screen?)
- new independent option in sales settings to activate product configurator.
(same in e-commerce)
- demo data: Change demo data to set Customizable Desk & Conference Chair as make to order
- If only one attribute value that is Custom, don't display radio, selection or even color box

Rev. odoo/odoo@5c6a7c9 made a change to reuse an old group datapoint when
performing a read_group, instead of restoring *some* properties of the old
group (so basically a `_.omit` instead of a `_.pick`).
This is a bad idea as some properties were bound to the new datapoint
(`evaluateModifiers` for example) so it doesn't make any sense to update
the old datapoint with theses properties.

Have a list view, apply a group_by and a filter with a sort parameter
Click on one record to access the form view
Have a x2m within it
Before this commit, the x2m records were loaded with a context containing
the keys orderedBy and group_by
It seems harmless at first, but even conceptually those keys should not be here
- they apply on a list of records, and not to individual ones
- they may contain field names not existing in the x2m model
Hence, when accessing another list view through an action button, the list
will try to be orderedBy or group_by with the given context
Which is plain wrong in the first place and may cause crashes
After this commit, the context of a record datapoint (representing a single record)
is stripped from the keys

Active currencies are given in session_info, in the page source.
When the user activated a new currency, he had to reload the page
to make the browser aware of that new currency (without reloading,
there was no currency symbol displayed next to the amounts).
This rev. forces a reload of the currencies each time a currency is
edited.

For many2one fields, 'default_get' only returns the id, whereas
'onchange' (like 'read') returns an array with id and display_name.
Before this rev., when creating a new record, we always called
'name_get' for all many2ones, whether or not their value was
obtained by 'default_get' or 'onchange', i.e. even if their
display_name was already known.
It may just look like unnecessary RPCs, but those RPCs could
actually cause a crash when the user has access to the main model
(and thus can access the display_name of the many2one thanks to
related sudo), but doesn't have access to the many2one comodel.

When editing a record, if it cannot be saved (b.e. due to required
fields) and the user clicks on save, then on discard
Before this fix, the window did nothing (seems like it is unresponsive)
After this fix, the user is able to discard the form.

Before this rev., the context specified on an x2many fields (in the
arch) wasn't fully propagated to the subrecords. This means that it
couldn't be used, e.g., in the template of the sub kanban view (see
parent commit).

Create record A on form view, on which a dynamic domain is added by an onchange.
Switch to kanban view. Quick create a record B. Click edit.
This sends you to the complete form view to edit the record.
The dynamic domain of A is still applied.
When discarding the changes, the _domains attribute was not reset.
Example of a model on which this flow can be reproduced is helpdesk.ticket,
with _onchange_partner_project providing the new _domain.

Most operations on X2Many widget possibly propagates a field context
(name_create, name_search, ...) but the original read or read on an
onchange does not.
With this changeset, the field context is also used in these instances.
The assertions added in the added test failed with:
expected: ["world"], result: [undefined]
expected: ["world","world"], result: [undefined,undefined]

Before this rev., there was a race condition when the user did
some changes on a form view (triggering an onchange), saved and
clicked on the breadcrumbs to leave the form view (before the
onchange returned). As a consequence, the dialog telling the user
that there are pending changes was displayed. This mostly occured
on the main_flow_tour since the removal of an unnecessary check,
and could be reproduced manually on a slow network.
Basically, the check if there were pending changes was done too
early (before the view was actually saved).

Fine-tuning of commit e7fab234201e357da52c3576ad2e8fc9ceee9359
In a one2many with more than one page with a limit of k records, add a line l.
It increments the list limit to k+1. Remove a line above (of index <= k).
It will try to load a line l' to replace it, that it will find on page 2.
However when deciding if it should read missing fields on that record, it will
scan at most u records, skipping virtual ids.
Here u is the min between the current number of lines and the list limit
without the temporary increase due to the added record.
Since there are at least two pages, u = k.
However since l is in the list at index k, then l' won't be read, and since it
was on page 2 its data hasn't been loaded.
Therefore the js would traceback when trying to evaluate it.

Use case: a x2m (ex: attribute values) displayed in a x2m (ex: attributes on
product) using different fields in different views (ex: tags in product form view
and list in product attribute form view). When opening the x2m record (in a
wizard) then going back on the form view, the tags are empty because the
`display_name` value has been lost when fetching x2m for the second time.
In this case, the list `fieldsInfo` needs to be updated with the existing
(default for tags) one so all the fields will be correctly loaded.

Before this commit, we don't assure fetch's deferreds were resolved to
return _readGroup. Thus, in some conditions, kanban was rendered before
records data was updated so many2many tags could be missing.
Now, we return _readGroup when fetch's deferreds were resolved.

This branch introduces a large-scale reorganization of the
component tree generated by the web client. The short version is
that now, the control panel is a child of the view controller and
no longer a sibling. Graphically (and simplified), we go from
this:
webClient
/ | \
... ... actionManager
/ \
controlPanel viewController
/ \
to this:
webClient
/ | \
... ... actionManager
|
viewController
/ | \
ControlPanelController
/ \
CPRenderer CPModel
The motivation is that this work moves the code where it should be.
Before this commit, it was kind of weird to have code in the
controllers to render buttons outside of their root node (in
renderButtons). Also, the action manager had to take care of
coordinating search view states between view transitions.
So, this work simplifies the code. It also makes it easier to
extend. We see day after day that Odoo needs to take care of more
complex UI needs, and in many cases, these needs were quite
difficult to implement (we prefer spaghettis in our plates, not in
our code). The changes in this branch should open the way to
implement these features.
For example,
- it will now be easy to add the possibility of views (for example,
the search view or a new ControlPanel view) to add custom buttons
(of type action or object) in the control panel.
- Another need will be to serialize/ restore the state of the
search view across action boundaries (needed by the dashboard).
- Another example is the possibility for views to customize easily
the presence/absence of sub menus (filters/groupbys/favorites/
time range/...)
- Another need is an easier way for views/client action to customize
their control panel.
This commit also contains a large rewrite of the search view (so it
is more inline with our architecture and easier to maintain).

Have a one2many display records in a kanban subview,
which opens a form view when edited.
Edit a field displayed only on the form view.
A call to _applyX2ManyChange is done without giving it the viewtype argument,
therefore the fieldinfo is taken from the wrong view, traceback ensues.

Recent works in the orm (see [1] for example) changed the behaviour of
the server in the case of onchanges: it tries to optimize Odoo by
sending a minimal diff to the web client in onchanges.
Concretely, this means that the web client receives commands 4 (link to)
instead of command 1 (update + record data). It also sends a minimal
diff in that case. This is a big issue for the web client, because it relied
on the knowledge of the data from the command 1 to be able to evaluate some
modifiers.
The good news is that we can mitigate the issue in one case: we do not
actually need to evaluate the modifiers in the case of a command 4
(comming from the server), because we can assume that the record is
valid. So, we simply bypass the check in that case.
Note that this should fix most of the problem, but a deeper problem
still remains: a crash can still happen when an onchange modifies a
record in a one2many (but in a different page), and we also have a
modifier which needs to be evaluated.

Have:
- Model A with a x2m to model B
- Object A with multiple objects B in x2m (that will be sorted)
- On the list view of model A, click on a column to sort by a field
- this field shall not exist in B
- open a record A (towards form view)
Before this commit, the sorting of the x2m crashed, because the key orderedBy was propagated

Before this commit, the web client evaluated all modifiers
(readonly/invisible/required) in some cases, even if it only needed one
of them. This is clearly not optimal, and I even suppose that for large o2m,
it could even have a noticeable effect on web client perceived speed
This commit simply make sure that we evaluate only what we need in those
cases. Note that it is not really a testable improvement, hence the
lack of tests.
