This branch introduces a large-scale reorganization of the
component tree generated by the web client. The short version is
that now, the control panel is a child of the view controller and
no longer a sibling. Graphically (and simplified), we go from
this:
webClient
/ | \
... ... actionManager
/ \
controlPanel viewController
/ \
to this:
webClient
/ | \
... ... actionManager
|
viewController
/ | \
ControlPanelController
/ \
CPRenderer CPModel
The motivation is that this work moves the code where it should be.
Before this commit, it was kind of weird to have code in the
controllers to render buttons outside of their root node (in
renderButtons). Also, the action manager had to take care of
coordinating search view states between view transitions.
So, this work simplifies the code. It also makes it easier to
extend. We see day after day that Odoo needs to take care of more
complex UI needs, and in many cases, these needs were quite
difficult to implement (we prefer spaghettis in our plates, not in
our code). The changes in this branch should open the way to
implement these features.
For example,
- it will now be easy to add the possibility of views (for example,
the search view or a new ControlPanel view) to add custom buttons
(of type action or object) in the control panel.
- Another need will be to serialize/ restore the state of the
search view across action boundaries (needed by the dashboard).
- Another example is the possibility for views to customize easily
the presence/absence of sub menus (filters/groupbys/favorites/
time range/...)
- Another need is an easier way for views/client action to customize
their control panel.
This commit also contains a large rewrite of the search view (so it
is more inline with our architecture and easier to maintain).

Before this fix, when going on the graph view from the dashboard view (
using the fullscreen button on dashboard), the focus is on the search
input, hitting the tab key creates a crash.
This fix gives a default implementation of giveFocus to the
abstractrenderer so there is no crash.

This rev. improves the way the scroll position is restored when
coming back to a view (e.g. open a kanban view, scroll, click on a
record to open it in a form view, go back to kanban using the
breadcrumbs):
- generalize the scroll position handling from web_enterprise to
web to make it available in the community webclient as well
- also restore left scroll position, not only top (especially
useful for grouped Kanban views with a lot of columns)
- handle the case where the scrolling area is a sub element of
the view (e.g. the grouped Kanban view in mobile).

Fix a bunch of ill-documented/incomplete/incorrect method docs
Without this, the automatic doc generation does not work.

*board,crm
Before this rev., the dashboard panel (e.g. of the sales team
dashboard) wasn't displayed when there were no record to display,
whereas it should. Only the nocontent helper was displayed.
This was a bug introduced with the new view: the views' controller
was in charge to display the renderer (if there were data to
display) xor the nocontent helper. As the dashboard panel was
rendered by the renderer, it couldn't be displayed alongside the
nocontent helper.
This rev. moves this logic to the renderer. So now, the controller
always contains the renderer, which decides what to render (the
data or the nocontent helper). This way, the dashboards can display
their panel and the nocontent helper.

Before this commit, when hitting the "Discard" button in an editable
list view, the line switched to readonly mode but with the undiscarded
data (even though the data was properly discarded and not saved).
Fortunately, the fix is in fact making the save/discard/update system
more consistent. Here are some reasons why:
- the `_confirmSave` method is now used after a save or a discard
(while it was before only called on readonly views where a change
was made by a special field widget).
- Abandonning a record (discarding a new unsaved one), is now the
responsability of `discardChanges` (and not `_setMode`).
- The renderer `updateState` method is used when its state is updated.
- ...
Note that setting the renderer mode is now taking care of deferreds
properly (the widgets deferred are now considered when switching
a row to readonly/edit mode).

* account, mail, sale
Since the views refactoring, modifiers were not properly handled
anymore (readonly/required not recomputed, use of readonly/required
of "python field" instead of "view field", ...). This commit tries to
implement a system which allows to handle the modifiers (re)computation
the same way for all the basic views.
For this to work, many specialized renderers behaviors have been moved
to the basic renderer so that more mechanisms are shared (especially by
the form renderer and the list editable renderer). The list editable
renderer is hugely impacted by this commit.
Here is a list of key changes:
- The basic renderer now has a `_renderFieldWidget` function which is
used without modification by the form and the list renderers.
- Modifiers have to be registered thanks to the basic renderer
`_registerModifiersData` function (this is done automatically for
fields by the `_renderFieldWidget` function for example).
- All instantiated widgets are accessible, organized by record, and
ordered in a special basic renderer variable.
- The code which resets the widgets of the form view and the code
which updates the row of a list editable view is now shared in the
basic renderer and now also automatically updates the DOM according
to the reevaluated modifiers.
- The last point has an huge impact on list editable renderer: all the
widgets have to be instantiated when editing a row (even readonly and
invisible ones) as they can be switched to editable/visible during
edition (after a modifiers update).
- `replace_element` and `readonly` options of `AbstractField` are
useless: widgets are now always replacing the list editable cells
in edition and the `readonly` widget mechanism is replaced by the
notion of 'focusable' widgets.
(see `AbstractField.getFocusableElement`)
- The 'tab' navigation mechanism is impacted by the previous point,
some code sharing have been done in basic renderer for this too.
- `AbstractField` does not care anymore of the 'required' status, this
is the view responsability to check that a required field has a set
value on save.
- Some list editable bug fixing (e.g. it was possible to edit multiple
rows at the same time, it was not possible to navigate towards the
previous field, crash on o2m add an item click, ...)
- The mockserver now properly simulates server modifiers computation.
- ...
Note: list editable style may be worse than before this commit but a
CSS update is coming in a few days.

Also, add some docstring tags.

This commit introduce a full redesign of all JS views. We started
basically from scratch. The goal was to unify all the various views
under a common framework, to make them testable, to make then usable in
different conditions (in studio, or in the frontend), and to make our
lives easier.
Some important points are:
- we introduced new coding guidelines (camelCase, 80 chars width, ...)
- we have a brand new testing framework (still QUnit based)
- kanban view moved to the web addon
- calendar view (formerly web_calender) moved to web as well
- the tree view was removed
- all new code should be documented
We hope that this code is the start of a new era for the Odoo web
client, we want to have a high quality codebase, well documented, well
tested, well designed.
Work done by the framework team: mostly aab, ged, chm, dmo, qsm
