2020-05-27[REM] theme_bootswatch: remove the theme entirelyqsm-odoo
Since 12.0, the theme was still supported but did not receive any of the new features, like choosing its own colors. This commit removes the theme entirely so that all users use the new shiny features and also because it will become impossible to support with the new color system. task-2207192 closes odoo/odoo#51508 Related: odoo/design-themes#279 Related: odoo/upgrade#1225 Signed-off-by: Quentin Smetz (qsm) <qsm@odoo.com>
2019-09-24[REF] website, *: improve use of unicode support fontqsm-odoo
* web, theme_bootswatch Improvement of https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/02a321cffb2da60a86b960e75c445e37094567b4 - Clarify the name of the support font (to distinguish it from standard and google fonts and avoid confusion with Noto Sans and Noto Serif). - Make sure the support font is added and can be added for all font definitions in odoo scss files thanks to a scss function. Could be backported in 12.0 if judged necessary. Part of https://github.com/odoo/odoo/pull/37293
2019-04-15[FIX] web: use specific font for Arabic, Hebrew and Cyrillic alphabetMartin Trigaux
The basic font-family offered on Odoo do not support a large set of characters and rely on the system fonts for non-latin languages On a system without specific fonts installed, the characters were replaced by For Hebrew, the system sans-serif font (at least on Windows pc) was too small. Rely on the unicode-range range CSS descriptor to load a font only for a specific range of unicode code. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/%40font-face/unicode-range This way, the fonts are ignored for English text (and you don't have to load the fonts of every possible language). Add Noto fonts that covers many charsets. There is an heavy version for many charset and lighter ones for Arabic and Hebrew More ranges can be added later Serve the fonts on our CDN to avoid shipping several MB of fonts for everyone but lazyload it when needed. 2018-08-10[FIX] theme_bootswatch: fix libraryqsm-odoo
The way the bootswatch library import fonts is not the right way so we must unfortunately apply a fix in the library itself. Also review the manifest file.
2018-07-27[REF] theme_bootswatch: update current themes to bootstrap v4.1.3qsm-odoo
Note 1: unsupported themes were already removed in a previous commit. Note 2: we should maybe add the new themes.
2018-04-18[REF] theme_bootswatch: update themes to scss and review supportqsm-odoo
Remove support of: - Theme Amelia: removed with bootstrap 3.3.0, but released in odoo at bootstrap version 3.2.0 (should have been removed since Odoo 9.0 (boostrap version 3.3.5)) - Theme Readable: removed with bootstrap 4.0.0 so it is best to remove it now so as we are gonna migrate to bootstrap 4.0.0. We may want to add new bootswatch theme with bootstrap 4.0.0 migration. This commit also adds the missing LICENSE file.
2018-04-18[REF] theme_bootswatch: reorganize folderqsm-odoo
Reorganize the theme folder to follow standard hierarchy. In particular, the libs are now placed in a dedicated folder in the /static/lib folder instead of the /static/src folder.
