Bug
===
Since 569d35bc2dd3f2071c084e81331af0afad981202 a fix have been provided
to fix the vertical position of the emoji widget in mobile view.
But the fix have been done in a wrong way and we should use the Odoo CSS
class instead to detect mobile (and not a bootstrap media query).

When a user sends a plaintext email to a mail-enabled channel, the
rendering of this message in Discuss have present a horizontal scroll
when the text contains long sentences.
This commit fixes it by enabling wrapping of the line's word to fit its
container size and prevent horizontal scrolling.
Note: the required CSS rules were already present since odoo/odoo@0e7e18ff71f3b490522358fa689ada7635dcd26a
but a wrapper element (with the class `.o_thread_message_content`) was
introduced in odoo/odoo@4685e4bc7f19f964697bf0dbd7dfdf254b6c5628 and
merged between the testing of the fix above and its actual merging in the
Odoo codebase, making it ineffective. We only have to properly re-enable
it.

In edit mode, the list_activity widget popover is not fully visible
(most of it is cut). The reason is that at some point the rule
specifying that the containing list cell should have the property
'overflow: visible' became less important than another global
rule imposing the property 'overflow: hidden'.
The present commit makes sure that 'overflow: visible' is applied on all
list cells containing a list_activity widget.

This commit attempts to improve emoji widget css and code to make it easily
overridable by other modules. This is done in preparation for extension by the
SmsWidget that will enable the emojis support.
To improve the emoji widget, the following changes have been made
* remove the spacing after emoji fields by setting widget dropdown height to
0 (emoji dropdown has relative position + (height > 0) which leaves an
empty space after widget fields);
* hide Emoji widget when field has "invisible modifier";
* move the code that adds the emoji dropdown to another method, allowing to
better understand code organization;

This commit is a significant rewriting of client-side discuss, chatter,
chat window, and messaging menu using OWL. The behavior should be broadly
the same, with some slight functional changes here and there.
From a technical standpoint, the code of messaging is mainly organized in 2
main groups of modules:
- models, which are logical entities that depict the client-side state of
messaging as a whole.
- components, which are in charge of displaying information from models.
This refactoring also introduces new JS guidelines regarding folder structure
(/static) and naming rules for JS modules.

emojis display (for different OSes > browsers)
This commit attempts to fix the emoji widget position issue (only in enterprise versions) on mobile screen.
The emoji dropdown overflow & emojis font display issues (on mobile screen) are also fixed in this commit.
The following changes have been made :
1- Add css media-breakpoint to override widget position in small breakpoint and narrower.
2- Add position-relative + bottom css on widgets to avoid negative margins.
3- Set a max-width for the dropdown on mobile screen.
4- Add width/height on emoji icons to solve emojis position issue for some fonts (on different OSes > browsers).
This fix was made with the 'smallest possible changes' taking in consideration effects on :
- "text_emojis" widgets, since they use same class : "o_mail_emojis_dropdown".
- Emoji widget position in community (This fix won't break widget position in community version).

PURPOSE
We are currently working toward turning every user avatar (i.e. the round
picture of the user) in a shortcut to open the chatbox to that user. It only
makes sense to also have the user avatar in the header of the chatbox
(like in Facebook)
SPECIFICATION
Replace the current IM status colored dot of the chatbox header by the same
avatar/im_status compound currently used in the chatter.

PURPOSE
Currently, the activity dropdown displays the activity types of activities.
The goal is to display the activity summaries instead, and fallback on the
activity type if there is no summary set.
SPECIFICATION
In the activity dropdown, display the activity summary instead of the activity
type. Only display the activity type if there is no summary set on the activity.
A long summary will be ended with a ellipsis.
Here, handled a long summary for chatter, list, kanban, and activity views.

This commit adds a tweaked version of the kanban_activity widget
for the list view. This widget displays the summary of the next
activity (and fallbacks on the activity type if there is no
summary). It can be set by defining widget='list_activity' on
field activity_ids.

This widget is an extension of Many2OneAvatar, designed for
many2one fields pointing to the 'res.users' model, or a model having
itself a many2one field pointing to 'res.partner'.
With this widget, when the avatar is clicked, we open a DM chat
window with the corresponding partner. If the user clicked on itself,
we open a blank chat window for the sake of consistency.
In kanban views, this widget only displays the avatar.

The chatter's attachment box has an horizontal overflow when adding at
least 1 attachment.
This is due to a negative margin applied on the attachment list/previews
not matching its container's padding (3px vs 5px).
This commit reuses the SCSS variable dedicated to this margin around the
attachment list/previews and apply it correctly to the chatter's
attachment box.

When using the Discuss app (not the systray's thread window) on a small
device, it is not possible to scroll through the discussion (cf. tab
"Chat" or "Channels").
Steps to reproduce:
* Go in discuss (in mobile)
* Go to tab chat or channel => BUG
NB: you must have enough element to test the scroll
This bug is due to the commit odoo/odoo@3ad77065605459140c70c2f5ffadceed92e417ca.
Before it, the styles as interpreted by the browser looked like this:
.o_mail_discuss_tab_pane {
overflow-x:scroll; // explicitly set in discuss.scss
overflow-y:auto; // implicit ; due to the overflow-x rule
}
But by removing the overflow-x rule, the styles ware interpreted as:
.o_mail_discuss_tab_pane {
overflow-x:visible; // implicit ; due to the absence of overflow-* rule
overflow-y:visible; // implicit ; due to the absence of overflow-* rule
}
In addition, the parent element had an overflow: auto rule scoped only
for desktop-like screens.
This commit fixes this issue by unscoping the overflow: auto rule on the
parent, allowing to scroll the messages' list in both desktop-like and
mobile-like screens.

When using emoji widget in a multi language environment, button for emoji
is displayed twice.
This is due to having in the widget both the input and a translation box
holding the translation button. Emoji button is incorrectly added to both
elements, which is fixed in this commit.
We also adjust vertical position so that button is aligned with the language
button.

Revision on https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/9a66619db33fca5f0cb81d9f6bfeb0fb0290cf68
Commit above improves the web client startup by not having to wait
for discuss widgets to fully load beforehand.
However, it introduced an issue with chatter when the 1st rendering
happens before messaging becomes ready: it displays
"Creating a record..." instead of the whole history of messages.
This happens because when messaging is ready, it updates data from
the chatter but it does not trigger a re-render.
This commit fixes the issue by triggering a re-render on messaging
ready. When messaging is not ready, thread field now displays
"Loading..." instead of the message "Creating a record...".

After commit ef46378, the position of the composer tools of the chatter
was below the text area instead of at the right of it. This is because
one div inside the flexbox was no longer diplayed as a flex or absolute.
By setting that disabled textbox to position absolute, the flexbox can
be displayed normaly again.

Before this commit, discuss widgets had to wait for the route
`mail/init_messaging`. This behaviour slowed down the loading of the
web client.
This commit solves the issue by rendering discuss widgets even when
`mail/init_messaging` hasn't been resolved. For instance, the
messaging menu displays a spinner until messaging becomes ready.

There are too many image sizes. Since they are stored resized this takes time to
generate when saving a new image, it's more rows on the attachment table, more
files on the disk, ...
64px is close enough to 128px that it can be removed without a big impact on
download size.
It will even reduce download and number of requests when both images are
displayed because now only one has to be downloaded and then benefit from cache.
The difference between the two is typically around 1.5kB which is negligible
these days, especially when the request overhead is around 0.5kB already, not
even taking into account other factors such as latency.
If a 64px image must absolutely be returned, it is still possible to pass the
size parameters to the image route. But the current guideline is to handle
resizing in the views when necessary.

- remove width and height attributes when existing CSS rules are overriding them
(eg. `.oe_kanban_avatar` in the right context)
- add CSS rules instead of width and height attributes when possible
- use `object-fit: cover;` where width and height are forced to avoid distortion
of non-square images
- for products, use `object-fit: contain;` instead, keep ratio but without crop
- add new CSS rules where the expected size was max 64px*64px before due to the
image size itself
- remove `img-fluid` where using size classes to avoid conflicting rules

When uploading an attachment from a chat window, the label
"Uploading..." was not visible. This comes from attachment preview
being too small, thus cutting entirely the filename and the upload
progress bar.
This commit fixes the issue by increasing the size of attachment
previews in chat window, so that it takes 50% width. It also provides
more space for labels on attachment preview while uploading, by
removing the right padding for the animated "unlink" feature that
works only for uploaded attachments anyway.
Note that this commit does not entirely solve the issue: half the
width of a chat window being enough to display the icon, the file
extension, and sometimes the label "Uploading..." completely. The
width of the icon and text extension combined is always the same,
but the label "Uploading..." changes with the locale. The extra space
from the padding removal makes this label fully visible in English,
but not necessarily in other languages. The proper fix requires
re-designing the style of attachment preview, which will be done in
master.

This commit adds a new mailbox in the Discuss app called 'History'.
Messages that have been marked as read are moved to 'History'.
Notifications are required to link history messages to users. So
notifications are now deleted after they are more tha 6 months old.
This means History mailbox keeps less than 6 months old messages.
Note that this feature only works when user notifications are handled
in Odoo. This can be set in the user preferences, under the
"Notification Management" section.
