2018-04-18[REF] *: rename all LESS files to SCSSqsm-odoo
This is a simple renaming without adaptation.
2018-04-09[REF] mail, note: move reminder feature from mail to noteDharmang Soni
This commit refactors f488dc58c37fdc7fd49df759165de641e213444b that added reminder feature in activities. After merging it was suggested specifications were not correct and it has been decided to move the whole reminder feature in note. Reminders are now notes instead of activities. Now when having note appµ systray proposes to create a note / reminder. A note.note record is created with info given by the user. If a date is given in the systray quick create then an activity is scheduled on this note. This means user can create records in activity systray that are not activities but notes used as reminders. Those will use the first availableµ note column for the user. As reminders are now notes the support of activities not linked to any document is removed, as well as archiving activities and tests linked to that behavior. This commit has been not carefully tested nor in-depth reviewied. It is considered as too important for the upcoming freeze. This closes task ID 1833628. Closes #24129 . Many thanks to @dpr-odoo for its quick development and good work on this task.
2018-03-27[IMP] mail: allow to use stand alone activities as remindersDharmang Soni
This commit allows to create personal reminders and to manage them using activities. It is done using activities not necessarily linked to a record but only to a user. Reminders can be used for example as a personal todo list. Technically we choose to model a reminder as an activity related to no record. This means having a void res_id and model. An activity type is added to classify reminders in it. Settings reminder as done is not done like classic activities. Indeed classic activities are unlinked and a message is logged on the related document. As there is no document for reminders those are archived instead. It means an active field is added as well as an override of toggle_archive to update systray counter. Activities systray widget is improved to display reminders in activities list. This entry leads to a kanban view of activities allowing their management. It is also possible to create them directly from the systray allowing a quick creation of reminders. This commit is related to task ID 41745. Closes #22143 . Co-authored-by: Dharmang Soni <dpr@odoo.com> Co-authored-by: Xavier Dollé <xdo@odoo.com>
2018-03-14[REM] mail: remove o_mail_note class in chatterThibault Delavallée
Purpose of this commit is to clean a bit various classes and conditions. First clean is the removal of o_mail_note class in activities less. It comes from first implementation of activity widget and is not used anymore in activity widgets rendering. Second clean is the removal of o_mail_note class when displaying messages. Only o_mail_discussion is used currently in chatter to make a different background depending on whether the message is a discussion or not. All we have to know to differentiate message display is whether it is a discussion done by an user or not. Tests have been updated to use o_mail_discussion class triggered by the message being a discussion, aka a comment posted by an user.

2017-05-04[REF] web, *: restore views designqsm-odoo
Since the new views merge, a lot of design elements were broken. This was particularly impacting the fields in the editable list view; indeed the editable list view is not using an inline form view anymore so the fields in the list were not properly styled as the LESS was still defined assuming the form view environment (for example the invalid fields were red for o2m fields in form view but not in editable list view even though they got the right CSS class). This commit refactor the LESS following these rules: - No more division of non-layout and layout rules. Dividing LESS rules in x_layout.less and x.less was a mistake. Many rules can be considered to be layout and not layout at the same time, developers always have to switch from one file part to the other, many CSS selectors (and rules!) are duplicated for nothing, ... - Field style is extracted from x_view.less and put in the new fields.less file. As before, the fields_extra.less will contain the rules specific to community so that the enterprise repo can override those by replacing the whole file. - Many classes have been renamed so that o_form_x_y becomes o_x_y as many classes can now be applied outside of form view. These classes should not be used in templates anyway. The commit also changes the DOM of fields so that it is more minimalist (no useless parent div, etc). Input elements are not automatically styled anymore, they have to get the o_input class explicitely. This allows to fix lots of small style bugs of previous versions (required monetary field had not the proper style, readonly m2m tags appeared as editable, ...). This also improves the LESS code. The editable list view should also completely stop flickering on chrome and firefox. The commit also removes the orange outline on list view dirty cells. The commit also removes deprecated static xml, LESS and other code. Notice there are still styles to restore/fix and LESS to improve.

2016-12-21[IMP] mail: add activities allowing to define next actions on various modelsRavi Gadhia
This commit introduces generic activities to use in your addons. Activities are actions user have to take on a document like making a phonecall or organizing a meeting. Activities come with the mail module as they are integrated in the Chatter but are not bundled with mail.thread. New models are * mail.activity.type: used to categorize activities. Each type is a different kind of activity e.g. call, mail, meeting. An activity can be generic i.e. available for all models using activities; or specific to a model in which case res_model_id field should be used. * mail.activity: an actual activity to perform. Activities are linked to documents using res_id and res_model_id fields. Activities have a deadline that can be used in kanban view to display a status. Once done activities are unlinked and a message is posted. This message has a new activity_type_id field that indicates the activity linked to the message. This commit introduces a mail.activity mixin to use in various addons that enables the activities feature. It works like the mail.thread mixin. It defines a activity_ids one2many field toward activities using res_id and res_model_id. Various related / computed fields are also added to have a global status of activities on documents. Activities come with a new JS widget for the form view. It is integrated in the Chatter widget although it is a separate widget. It displays activities linked to the current record and allow to schedule, edit and mark done activities. Use widget="mail_activity" on activity_ids field in form view to use it. There is also a kanban widget defined. It defines a small widget to integrate in kanban vignettes. It allow to manage activities directly from the kanban view. Use widget="kanban_activity" on activitiy_ids field in kanban view to use it. Next commits will aim at integrating activities inside main Odoo addons. Thanks to R&D India for their work and testing on this task. Thanks to belgian Usabiliteam for reviewing and testing it. Thanks to @jem-odoo for the final review. May his soul lie in peace with the trumpets of paradise.
